This new build hotel at bustling Luton airport provides 133-bedrooms and associated front of house facilities on a tight, sloping site. The site was maximised to allow sufficient car parking and service access, requiring carving out additional space at the embankment adjacent to the A1081.
This project realised the delivery of the first IBIS Budget “Nest” brand in Europe for both the client and Accor. Arranged over 7 floors, the building’s character is defined by the simplicity of the vertical ceramic rainscreen cladding and curtain walling providing a contemporary imagery that raises the standard of hotel developments in the area.
